CHRISTMAS AT HARRINGTON'S
by Melody Carlson

Genre: Inspirational, Mainstream

RT Rating

The author paints a touching story of hope and a new beginning for the lead character. With her past and future the main focus of the story, readers looking for romance will be disappointed that it doesn’t enter into the plot until the very end. This book is an inspirational Christmas tale of changes, hope and faith.

Lena Markham, recently released from prison, finds herself alone and broke. In hopes of starting a new life, Lena moves to New Haven, Conn. She quickly makes new friends and even lands a job — as Mrs. Claus — at the local department store. When the secrets of her past are revealed, Lena learns about true redemption and the holiday spirit from the townspeople. (REVELL, Oct., 192 pp., $15.99)
