A CHRISTMAS NIGHT TO REMEMBER (3) by Helen Brooks: After an accident leaves her crippled, Melody is no longer the flawless beauty or skillful dancer her charismatic husband Zeke James fell in love with. Believing she no longer has a place in Zeke’s world, Melody demands a divorce. But Zeke isn’t about to let his wife go without a fight. Can he persuade Melody to trust that their love is more than skin deep? Although a sympathetic character, the heroine’s persistent insecurities were frustrating. But realistic, quick-paced dialogue and a likable hero make this novel a worthwhile Christmas read.
