A CHRISTMAS WISH
by Celeste O. Norfleet

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Multicultural

RT Rating

Kimberly Franklin decides that what she wants to give her uncle
for Christmas is a new love. She has the perfect candidate, too—school counselor Patricia Burke.

Patricia has harbored a "crush" on Pierce Franklin since her school days. So imagine her surprise when Pierce, who is Kimberly's guardian, is called into school to discuss Kimberly's newfound trouble-making ways.

As the owner of a successful software company, Pierce struggles with spending time with his niece. Normally one who only dates model types, he is surprised to find himself fighting feelings for Patricia.

Unbeknownst to them, Kimberly and her friend Jasmine are very resourceful when it comes to their matchmaking. But when outside forces threaten their lives, all must be overcome in order for Kimberly to have the family she deserves.

This is a wonderful holiday story! The author provides touching insight into the characters' lives, their inner feelings and the idea that money does not provide happiness. (Oct., 288 pp., $5.99)
