CHRONOSPACE
by Allen Steele

Genre: Science Fiction, General Science Fiction

RT Rating

Time travel has rules: no going forward and no changing the past. Allen Steeles latest SF novel suggests what happens when the rules are broken.
The 24th-century chrononauts chosen to infiltrate the Hindenberg and record its disaster somehow change events and create a rift in CHRONOSPACE (3). Trapped in a parallel universe created by the rift, the chrononauts try to undo the damage but find their unsuccessful efforts cause time travel to be discovered 200 years too early. Mr. Allen explores how every action has a reaction and someone must take responsibility. His skillful weaving of several time lines into a cohesive story helps drive the fast-paced action towards a pulse-pounding climax. Hardcover.
