CINDERELLA AND THE LADY

Author(s):

This story is an interesting take on a classic fairy tale told from a lesbian point of view. While the main characters are well written and sympathetic, the secondary characters are one-dimensional. The plot teeters between extremely cute and slightly preposterous, but isn’t that what fairy tales are all about?

After Ellie’s father dies, she becomes an unpaid and unappreciated servant for her stepmother and stepsister. When Ellie meets a sexy stranger, Diana, she feels an immediate attraction that quickly transforms into love. Diana is really Lady Kristina, the Duke of Perrault’s daughter. Kristina wants nothing more than to take care of Ellie forever, but after the truth of her identity is revealed, Ellie finds it difficult to trust Kristina and the fragile relationship that has only just begun.
