With writing that not only entertains but also educates, this is an incredible, all-too-real journey into the land of pharaohs, pyramids and murder. Second in the Seven Wonders series, it brings history to life with well-timed flashbacks and great characters.

Grand Vizier Hemi supervises the engineering and construction of the Great Pyramid. While investigating an accident at the site, he is called to the office of Khufu the Golden Horus, Great in Victories, Chosen of Ra. A dead body with a gold mask has been found.

As they investigate, some begin to speak of the one true God instead of the many gods of the land. As these friends try to untangle the web of deceit that threatens to destroy them forever, old friendships are ruined and new accusations fly. Will they ever find the truth that can set them free?
