Joanne Rock has another winner with Up Close and Personal (4). Having been raised by neglectful parents, Jessica Winslow needs the stability of her own company. She's leading a weekend sex retreat and planning to start with erotic massage. Impulsively she tells the group that if they can find a willing man, she will show them how the techniques work. The women find Rocco Easton, who's disguised as a waiter but really investigating to see if Jessica scammed his father. Instead, he discovers Jessica is a victim
of identity theft and vows to help her. An innovative, up-to-date plot uses constant story twists to great advantage. Everything comes together in a satisfying end.
