CLOSE KNIT KILLER
Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Amateur Sleuth
The characters in Sefton’s books are as much fun as the plot, with warm relationships, the kind of fun only close friends can enjoy and people supporting each other through all of life’s problems – including a small case of murder. Readers are going to be disappointed as they reach the last page since it means their visit with the crew of House of Lambspun is over.
Spring is in the air in Fort Connor, Colo., and amateur sleuth and knitter Kelly Flynn and her friends are enjoying the chance to knit in the open and visit. Too bad a murdered man brings a chill wind with him. Years ago con man Jared Rizzoli swindled many residents with a Ponzi scheme. He spent years in jail, but the locals aren’t ready to forgive and forget. When Jared turns up dead in front of House of Lambspun, suspicion falls on Barbara, one of the local knitters. Barbara had a motive, but so did many other townspeople. Kelly rolls up her sleeves to find the thread that will lead back to the killer, hopefully before he/she finds her first.
