RT Rating

This is a truly compelling and gut-wrenching tale. Parrish skillfully weaves paranormal elements into a taut murder mystery. Very rarely do you find an author who masters suspense, paranormal, character development, romantic conflict and resolution with such grace and ease. Parrish is top notch and this is a must-read for paranormal and suspense fans.

Olivia Wainwright died when she was a young girl. Brought back to life, she gained the gift of being able to relive the deaths of others. She can solve a murder by simply touching a dead body, which causes her to experience that death. When a set of bones are discovered in the wall of a bar, Olivia knows they belong to the boy who saved her life. One touch will help her find the madman who kidnapped and tortured her so long ago. When officer Gabe Cooper meets Olivia and sees firsthand what her gift does to her, he doesn’t want her to continue. Her life and sanity are at risk. Can he let the woman he’s falling in love with risk her life to solve her own murder? He may have to if it means saving the lives of other children. (SIGNET ECLIPSE, Jul., 369 pp., $7.99)
