Book Review

by Amy J. Fetzer

Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

In this an action-packed novel, Fetzer is every bit as bad ass with her writing as her military main characters are in the story. The action and fight scenes are almost too realistic at times, but readers can't help but root for the good guys and plot against the bad -- though exactly who the bad guys are is a bit of a mystery. Witty one-liners are scattered throughout and, although the politics get a bit complicated, even readers who aren't political junkies will still enjoy this book.

Logan Chambliss and mercenary group Dragon One are called upon to fix a CIA mess in Venezuela. The plan goes downhill when Tessa Carlyle shows up. Threatened with blackmail and in the crosshairs of
a killer, her only choice is to help
a man she despises -- a man she never forgot. As they race through
the jungle battling enemy gunfire
and growing passion, it's unclear which one will overtake them first. (BRAVA, Dec., 384 pp., $14.00)
