COMFORT OF A MAN
Brooklyn Douglas is through with men. After her husband cheated on her with her best friend, she has no desire to go down that road again. Workaholic Isiah Washington's disastrous relationship also ends in heartache when his live-in mate marries his uncle.
But upon meeting in a New York City hotel, Isiah and Brooklyn can't curb their attraction and soon give in to their passions. Little do they expect that fate will make their brief interlude more than a one-night stand.
Brooklyn and Isiah make up a chemical compound that is positively explosive in this rapidly moving, emotionally charged story. Playful banter between characters sets the tone for a humorous, passionate love story. (Jul., 320 pp., $6.99)
