Dayna is pleased with the way her life is heading, and thinks a marriage proposal from her longtime boyfriend Warren may be soon approaching. Yet when her ex-husband Brent shows up on her doorstep, begging Dayna to have dinner with him and his wife Tamara (the woman who Brent cheated on Dayna with and then married), Dayna just wants to scream and run the other way. His persistence makes her finally give in and the news he delivers stretches the faith and devotion of everyone involved. (ZONDERVAN, Feb., 320 pp., $14.99)
