San Diego radio DJ Brenda Scott and sexy stranger Nick Jordan share a passionate New Year's Eve that, unfortunately, Brenda doesn't remember. When the two cross paths a few months later, their budding relationship is put to the test by their professions, her family and a string of personal insecurities. Will this self-confessed lingerie addict find more to love in life than the latest lacy camisole? Nick has high hopes she will—and that it'll be him.

Ashley's entertaining novel features a sympathetic heroine, a lovable hero, a cast of quirky secondary characters and a fun premise. There is very little keeping this couple apart, however, so the plot does not progress quickly. Despite this, the storytelling style is amusing and often engaging. (Jun., 368 pp., $6.99)
