THE COSTANZO BABY SECRET (3) by Catherine Spencer: Maeve wakes up from a coma with no memory of the last year of her life, including her husband, Dario Costanzo, and 7-month-old son. At their Mediterranean island home Dario struggles to maintain his distance so Maeve can regain her memories at her own pace, as her doctor recommended. Maeve senses their marriage is on shaky ground despite the physical chemistry between them, and she is torn between wanting to recall her past and the fear that the secrets haunting her dreams will threaten her second chance at happiness. The portrayal of the management of "psychogenic amnesia" in this novel is flawed and the execution of the plot doesn't live up to potential of the premise, but it is still an enjoyable read.
