In spite of the tension between the two government agencies, agents Kim Valenti (of the National Security Agency) and Alexander Tanner (of the FBI) have
no problem getting along when they
work together to stop a Middle Eastern
terrorist targeting the U.S. Ruth Wind's Countdown (4) is a great, action-packed read. Kim is a strong, smart woman that almost any female would love to identify with. Her drop from a ceiling in a radio station to take down a terrorist will leave readers with no doubt of her skills. Both the action and the spark between Alex and Kim keep the plot moving along nicely.
