Talked into attending the bachelor auction to help save the Lost Spring Ranch for Boys, Callie Thorne would rather have written a check than bid on a man. Mase LeBow, a Denver police officer, was the perfect man to bid on. The surly looking man would scare off most bidders so she could get him reasonably, and she was sure she could easily get out of the date. Only Mase doesnt want out. He sees Callies ranch as a way to protect his young son. Lynn Erickson writes a warm and wonderful romance with characters that readers will immediately care about in COURTING CALLIE (4.5).
