A COUSIN'S PRAYER
by Wanda E. Brunstetter

Genre: Inspirational, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

This Amish romance novel is the second in the Indiana Cousins series. In typical Brunstetter fashion, the characters and storyline are well crafted. Many readers will empathize with Katie's conflicted feelings. A recipe for banana nut cake is also included.

After leaving her Amish community to live with her grandparents
in Florida, Katie Miller is struggling to deal with the loss of her boyfriend. Upon returning to Indiana for a wedding, she learns that she's unable to return to Florida. Katie suddenly starts suffering panic attacks and increased depression. Freeman, who has been interested in Katie for years, tries to offer her comfort. Katie is drawn to him, but it appears
he may be interested in Eunice. When rumors begin to circulate about Katie, she is certain that Freeman betrayed her trust. Would it be in Katie's best interest to leave, or is it possible to create a new life for herself in Indiana? (BARBOUR, Sep., 288 pp., $10.97)
