THE COWBOY AND THE PRINCESS
THE COWBOY AND THE PRINCESS (4) by Myrna Mackenzie: When his college roommate, Prince Andreus of Xenora, asks rancher Owen Michaels to put up his little sister, Princess Delfyne, for the summer, Owen's not enthusiastic about the idea. But Delfyne's not what Owen was expecting -- she's down-to-earth and sweet, and he's drawn to her at once. It's obviously mutual, but there's a small problem, beyond the emotional baggage both carry. Delfyne's marrying someone else in the fall, if her family has anything to say about it! In some ways a fairly standard fish-out-of water story, this book is set apart by its characters -- and the lovely ending.
