COWBOY DADDY, JINGLE-BELL BABY
COWBOY DADDY, JINGLE-BELL BABY (2) by Linda Goodnight: On the run from her domineering parents, Jenna Garwood puts her car in a ditch on an icy road -- while she's in labor. Fortunately, rancher Dax Coleman happens along in time to deliver the baby. A single parent himself, Dax hires Jenna to cook, keep house and help care for his young son. The arrangement works well for them both -- until their attraction flares into more. Then Dax learns that Jenna comes from a wealthy family and thinks she doesn't love him because she didn't trust him with the truth. The characters have excellent chemistry, but they're both stereotypes -- and the plot is crippled by multiple cliches.
