THE COWBOY'S HEALING WAYS
THE COWBOY’S HEALING WAYS (4) by Brenda Minton: Laura White is involved in a minor accident on the way to visit her aunt, and Myrna Cooper gives her a place to stay while she waits for her car to be repaired. Myrna’s grandson, Jesse, is leery of Laura, especially after he learns she was recently in jail. However, he believes in second chances and offers her a job, which will help her regain custody of her daughter. Jesse plans to leave on a foreign mission trip and needs a housekeeper — but soon he’s wondering if he can fulfill God’s plans right at home. Minton’s characters are well crafted and remind the reader to focus on the future and not the past.
