A blend of military man and cowboy …ohh my. Finn is a great character. He is a strong silent type that needs to be with a woman who is just as honorable as he is. Cammie is this strong woman who understands Finn better then anyone. The connection between these two is electric. This book is full of real life struggles that military couples face including deployment fears, injuries and PTSD. These details give the story a lot of depth and heart. Yet despite the difficult topics tackled, the upbeat dialogue makes this a fun read. Readers will race through this story and then preorder the next book in the series to see what is in store for outrageous Brett.

Finn Brennan’s twin brother, Brett, has played some practical jokes on him over the years, but this one takes the cake. He has sent Finn a woman ranch hand — and not just any woman, but a Marine. Finn hates the Marines and blames them for taking his father, girlfriend and his naval career. There is no way he will be getting involved with Cammie, however, with Brett throwing the couple into a fake engagement, sparks fly. Soon Finn and Cammie's engagement starts to feel real. These two will have to figure out if they can heal from the past in order to have a future … together. (WILD ROSE PRESS, Oct., dl., $3.99)
