Book Review

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

The connected storylines in this book are tied together nicely with characters who are truly benevolent to one another. All three mysteries lead readers to love, forgiveness, unconditional friendship, family and, of course, romance. You'll want to curl up on an overstuffed chair in front of the fireplace at Miss Bitty's Bygone Bookstore and spend the winter.

Ivy Towers runs a rare
bookstore in the small town of Winter Break, Kan., after her great-aunt Bitty
is found dead inside. She becomes
suspicious that Bitty's supposed fall from a ladder was not really an accident, and her decision to investigate leads her to uncover other secrets in the small town. Along the way, she also discovers that love can be found where you least expect it. (Barbour, Dec., 411 pp., $12.95)
