Two best friends in Atlanta are trying
to find their happily ever after. Gorgeous Stacie Long knows she deserves the
best and has a list of the 10 things she requires in a man. But, as her best friend Tameeka Johnson points out, the list is all about physical attributes and money, and Stacie's carefully kept secrets could compromise her search. Tameeka, meanwhile, just wants to find her soul mate.

The women attend Atlanta's annual Sexy and Sultry New Year's Eve Bash, and both think they've found their man there. NBA player Crawford Wallace meets all
of Stacie's requirements, and she starts planning their life together. But does he think of her the same way? And is businesswoman Tameeka too successful for
a relationship with Tyrell Powell?

Day brings together an interesting, sympathetic pair of women. Both have problems but are working to overcome them. Both make mistakes but change
in interesting ways that make them more than stereotypical characters. The subplots are strong and add to the story. (Aug., 320 pp., $13.00)
