Book Review

CRESS
by Marissa Meyer

Genre: Young Adult, Futuristic

RT Rating

The third book in Meyer’s acclaimed Lunar Chronicles series is not to be missed. Cress combines all of the romance and adventure of its predecessors with an amount of humor not yet seen before in the series. An engaging plot, as well as the return of Meyer’s stellar characters, make for a novel that is truly fun to read, paving the way for a phenomenal conclusion to an excellent series.

Cress has not stepped out of her satellite, where she has been forced to serve Queen Levana, for seven years. All of that changes, however, when her path crosses with Captain Thorne’s. Suddenly, a girl with no social experience finds herself on Earth, and this time she is working with her new friends — and the guy of her dreams — to save it.
