CROSSING THE BRIDGE
by Michael Baron

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance
Sensuality: MILD

2010 Small Press Romance Nominee

RT Rating

Writing eloquently about life, death, loss and love, Baron has a firm grasp on human frailty. This emotional story is about a man coming to terms with his past and trying to figure out his future. Excellent!

Hugh Penders left his hometown of Amber, Conn., 10 years ago after his brother Chase died in a car crash. When his father has a heart attack, Hugh returns home to run the family business. People from Hugh's past are everywhere, including Iris, Chase's girlfriend -- and the girl Hugh was secretly in love with.

Hugh and Iris are drawn to each other, but Chase is still between them. When secrets from their past are exposed, will it push them further apart or bring them closer together? (THE STORY PLANT, Jan., 336 pp., $7.99)
