Surgeon Dante Nash works at a treatment facility in Texas for the rich and famous, partially owned by his former college roommate. But Dante is really working for the FBI. A potent designer sex drug is responsible for a dozen deaths, and the feds suspect that the treatment facility is involved. At the center, Dante meets Elle, Mark's former wife. Before long they are sexually involved after both are exposed
to the drug. Crossing the Line (3), by Lori Wilde, is the first in the new Perfect Anatomy miniseries. There's very hot sex between Dante and Elle, who are sympathetic characters. But the situation and the relationship seem contrived and melodramatic. That their first sexual encounter is under the control of the
drug is an unpleasant touch.
