CROSSING THE LINE
by Bernice Layton

Genre: Romantic Suspense, Multicultural
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

This fast-paced, intelligent and funny romance doesn't take any prisoners. The action starts on the first page and does not let up until the bad guy is no longer a threat. Getting there is all the fun.

After Raina Wade witnesses a triple murder, she begins a cross-country odyssey in the company of Pittsburgh detective Nicholas Laprelli. Nick has been assigned to escort Raina and her father, a former police chief, to Seattle. Nick and Raina are like oil and water, but neither is willing to back down. Nick's partner was murdered by the same killer Raina saw, which makes this case all the more personal. As they take their journey, a killer is on their trail, and they'll need all their wits about them to stay alive. (GENESIS/INDIGO LOVE SPECTRUM, Apr., 427 pp., $6.99)
