CROSSROADS OF TWILIGHT
by Robert Jordan

Genre: Fantasy, General Fantasy

RT Rating

The confrontation with the Dark One grows ever nearer and the White Tower
is still divided. Only if wielders of both halves of the True Source join in battle will the Dark One be overcome. Rand al'Thor has cleansed Saidin of the Dark One's taint, but only other men who channel believe it. The Aes Sedai still believe they can control the men, but their own power is slipping out of control.

Perrin Aybara's wife, Faile, is a slave of the Aiel Shaido, but he doesn't want to wait the traditional year and a day for her release. Faile knows her husband, and if she can't get free, he'll start a war trying to rescue her.

This fabulous series is worth the time to read and reread. Jordan's superlative world-building, robust characterizations and storytelling acumen produce an instant classic. (Jan., 672 pp., $29.95)
