This latest visit to Aspen Meadow, Colo., and Goldy Schulz’s catering business is sure to please die-hard fans of the series and newcomers alike. As always, Goldy’s kitchen adventures are as pleasurable to follow as her crime-solving ways; readers will have trouble staying away from their favorite booktime snacks!

When a friend of the family is murdered, Goldy and Tom agree to allow the friend’s boarders to stay with them — fellow caterer Yolanda, her fearsome great-aunt Ferdinanda and nine beagle puppies. In her attempts to unmask the culprit, Goldy helps shut down a heinous puppy mill, uncovers a trysters’ love nest and generally makes life difficult for her cop husband Tom.
