CRY IN THE NIGHT
by Colleen Coble

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Coble continues her Rock Harbor series, revisiting familiar characters and locations. Some of the twists border on unbelievable and aren't fully explained, but the mystery is intriguing and contributes to the quick pace of the story.

Bree and Kade Matthews have been trying unsuccessfully to
conceive a baby. When Bree and
her dog, Samson, find an infant in
the snow, Bree becomes attached but knows she will probably have to give the baby up.

Bree looks for clues about the mother, assuming she's the woman recently reported missing. But she soon discovers something shocking: Bree's former husband, long presumed dead after
a plane crash, resurfaces. Is he really who he says he is? Can they discover the thread that ties everything together before it's too late? (THOMAS NELSON, Feb., 304 pp., $14.99)
