A CURIOUS AFFAIR
Cat lovers and readers who like the paranormal will find this story enjoyable. With a light mystery, nicely done suspense and romance, this is a wonderful story. Jackson can be a bit verbose
at times, but the story moves well and comes to a quite satisfactory conclusion.
One cold, wet night Jillian decides to end it all, when cat Atherton shows up with news that there's been a murder. Jillian fetches the new sheriff, Tyler Murphy, and even though Tyler does not approve, they attempt to find the killer, a task complicated by lack of cooperation from the locals and a motive. But the cats are determined to bring the villain to justice, and they expect Jillian to help them. (Love Spell, Jun., 320 pp., $7.99)
