A CURSED EMBRACE
Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance
In Robson’s latest, she transports readers into the world of super- natural beings where vampires and werecreatures are at odds, and three weird sisters are caught in the middle of the conflict. Crisp, amusing storytelling, good pacing and sassy, sharp characters keep this story interesting. A well- told story with a modern feel, A Cursed Embrace definitely stands out in its genre.
Because of a curse gone wrong, Celia Wird and her sisters possess special powers. Exposure of their gifts to the supernatural community of Lake Tahoe has put their lives in danger, but it also earned them the protection of a group of vampires. Now werecreatures are turning up dead and the vampires are the prime suspects, which complicates the already strained romantic relationship between alpha werewolf Aric and Celia. Add to that the tenuous connection between her and her vamp defenders, and Celia has her hands full. (SIGNET ECLIPSE, Jul., 368 pp., $7.99)
