After his sister's death, photographer Dylan Malloy must be strong for his prematurely born nephew, Timmy. The situation is compounded by his sister's will, which gives custody of the boy to her friend, social worker Shaye Bartholomew. Dylan lets Shaye know that he intends to be part of Timmy's life, which is fine with her, to a point. But they have to find a way to trust each other and deal with their budding attraction first. Karen Rose Smith launches her Baby Bonds trilogy with the emotionally charged, deeply affecting Custody for Two (4). Strong plotting, characters and overall atmosphere add to the story.
