Since surviving an assault, Megan Hoffman's life has been on hold because the perpetrator is still on the loose. But when she meets new neighbor Jack Calhoun and it's obvious he's interested in her, she feels ready to start anew. Then Megan encounters her rapist again. Although frightened, she alerts the police and, with Jack at her side, is ready to talk about her past. Danger at Her Door (4.5) is the sensitively told story of a woman working to recover her sense of self after a traumatic attack. Beth Cornelison does a wonderful job of illustrating the two steps forward and one step back that is part of the healing process. It's a story you won't want to miss.
