Book Review

DANGEROUS PASSAGE
by Lisa Harris

Genre: Inspirational, Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

Harris begins a new series with a novel that delves into the horrors of human trafficking. Although the subject seems heavy for the genre, the author deftly handles the plot while making it relevant and interesting to the reader and softening it with a sweet love story.

Detective Avery North and medical examiner Jackson Bryant are trying to figure out where their relationship is headed when they are forced to deal with a terrible case. Two unidentified murdered women, both with magnolia flower tattoos, are discovered. Avery suspects a serial killer, but those who should have information about these women are tight-lipped. Who is behind these deaths, and who were the women? (REVELL, Sep., 320 pp., $14.99)
