Margaret L. Carter is the newest entrant to the world of vampire fiction. DARK CHANGELING is a fascinating new version of a centuries-old tale.

Ever since he was a teenager, psychiatrist Dr. Roger Darvell has suffered from a mysterious craving for human blood. While he has done his best to resist his impulses, every now and then Roger has to secretly satiate his need. He does so by hypnotizing his donors whereby they forget the experience.

Currently, Roger has been working with the local police to profile a vicious serial killer who also seems to be draining the blood from his victims. Could this killer be someone like Roger?

One night at a party Sylvia LaMotte changes his life forever. Through her, he learns that vampires do indeed exist and that he is one of them.

Sylvia also reveals the name of the renegade vampire, Neil Sandor who feeds off his victims fear and terror as much as their blood. When Roger turns Sandors name over to the police, he unwittingly attracts Neils attention. Can Roger find a way to stop this powerful and merciless killer?
