DARK DEEDS
by Anne Marie Becker

Genre: Romantic Suspense, E-book

RT Rating

In Dark Deeds, Diego has always wondered what made Becca leave him without any sort of explanation, and his way of breaking through those barriers is creative and sexy. Who knew strip poker could be so therapeutic? Once they begin to trust each other again it’s so easy to understand the chemistry between them, especially as they move from strictly partners to holding nothing back. The Fan is twisted in a Norman Bates serial killer way, and the crossover between the Circle case and the Fan is intense.

Becca works for SSAM, a group that comes in when local law enforcement or the FBI needs help apprehending violent repeat offenders, and she’s been gathering evidence against the Circle, a very powerful crime syndicate that deals in human trafficking, hoping that each new lead will bring her closer to discovering if her boss’ daughter, Samantha, is still alive. While in town for her best friend’s wedding she learns that Diego, her one-time lover, may be working undercover within the Circle. When someone calling himself the Fan starts sending threatening texts to the agents at SSAM and fixating on Becca, Diego moves in to keep her safe. The violence surrounding the case brings the past to life once more, placing Becca in incredible danger because the Fan wants to be her partner and sees everyone else as an obstacle.
