by Bianca D'Arc

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

D’Arc’s zombies are on the loose again as we meet another couple finding true love while fighting evil scientists and the undead. With one of the most interesting premises in the paranormal romance subgenre, D’Arc’s stories are a pleasure to read — that is, if your idea of a good time is gore and thrills.

Dr. Sandra McCormick is back working for the government in an effort to counteract the horrific results of her earlier work with an experimental scientific team. Working on a wound-healing accelerant, the team unwittingly created a tissue regenerator that transforms the dead into zombies. Rogue scientists are working to improve the serum in order to create a zombie army. Sandra joins a team of Marines, ex-Navy SEALS, CIA and law enforcement agencies to combat, contain and eradicate the zombie threat. Team leader Matt Sykes can fuel Sandra’s sexual fantasies for years. And when they start bunking together so that Matt can protect her, things heat up fast. (BRAVA, Nov., 368 pp., $14.00)
