A DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS (4) by Margaret Daley: Doctor Max Connors comes to Tallgrass to get to know Taylor, the daughter he never knew he had. The death of his ex-wife revealed that she gave their baby up for adoption 14 years ago while he was abroad. After meeting with Rachel Howard, Taylor’s mother, and realizing how emotionally fragile her father’s death has left her, Max isn’t sure gaining custody of Taylor is wise. A solution soon presents itself, but until he can allow God to help him let go of his anger and forgive his ex-wife, Max can’t embrace the future God has for him. This final Helping Hands Homeschooling story is emotionally charged and emphasizes the rights of fathers and the power of forgiveness.
