Book Review

by Jessica Andersen

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Using the Mayan doomsday prophecy, Andersen continues to add complexity to her characters and her increasingly dense mythos. This intense brand of storytelling is a most welcome addition to the genre.

NOTE: This title is a continuation of the series that began with NightKeepers.

A rebel by nature, Nate BlackHawk is not one to automatically accept his destiny, even if it includes
mating with alluring fellow warrior
Alexis Gray.

Although the re-formed Nightkeepers recently managed to keep the demon Banol Kax from crossing the barrier, King Striking-Jaguar fears an old foe has resurfaced.

The Xibalban were thought to have been wiped out, but when a powerful mage begins forcibly obtaining sacred Mayan artifacts, the Nightkeepers fear the worst. To find a hidden library, Nate and Alexis may
be forced to face their passion and their fears.
