RT Rating

The sixth book in Avocato's series featuring insurance fraud investigator Pauline Sokol is light and fun and offers a number of interesting suspects. Pauline gets herself into some out-of-the-ordinary situations with some quirky and noteworthy characters.

Pauline tackles her biggest case yet when she and the sexy and mysterious Jagger go undercover as employees of a land-and-air ambulance company to investigate some seemingly shady business practices. When one of the owners becomes a murder victim -- and Pauline starts getting phone calls from the killer -- she must don her
amateur sleuth cap once again. With
a number of suspects, including hottie ambulance driver Dan, Pauline and Jagger soon have more than just fraud to investigate. (Avon, Jul., 272 pp., $6.99)
