Predictability is the only thing that spoils this otherwise well-written story. Book four in Wiesner's Incognito series has an interesting storyline and a strong heroine who believes in the power of true love at any cost.

FBI agent Parris L'Engle experiences dejà vu when she overhears a familiar voice attempting to convince her son to join a covert government organization. The same man tried to lure her fiance, Daniel, away 25 years earlier, but he refused. Daniel was supposedly killed the following day in a car accident, but Parris has never given up hope that he is still alive.

Network operative Roan Emory
was recruited against his will years ago and never knew his fiancee was pregnant with his child. He's now an extremely dangerous man who has left his old life behind. Parris will stop at nothing to protect her son from the people who stole her fiance from her. (WHISKEY CREEK, Jul., 256 pp., $12.95)
