DEAD GIRLS ARE EASY
by Terri Garey

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy
Sensuality: MILD

RT Rating

This is a ghost whisperer story that has thrills, chills and a nice dose of humor. The secondary characters are colorful and give the story panache. The twist involving the hero's absent wife leaves one hoping for a sequel.

After Nicki Styx dies and is revived, she discovers, to her horror,
that she can see and talk to the recently departed. The only one to believe her is Evan, her gay best friend and business partner. Joe, the doctor who saved her life, is skeptical of her new gift, though he's eager to get to know her better. Then a neighbor is killed and her ghost comes to Nicki for help. Soon Nicki, Joe and Evan must confront the scarier side of her gift. (Avon, Sep., 384 pp., $5.99)
