About to finally realize her dream of restoring the luxury yacht her hated grandfather left her, Chris Hampton gets an infusion of cash from the DEA when they ask her to use her boat to go after her sister Natalie's drug lord husband. Chris, desperate to rescue Natalie from
a bad situation, agrees, but must trust agent Connor McLellan to protect her when one of her brother-in-law's thugs comes after her. Unfortunately, there's a mole in the DEA, and Chris isn't so sure it isn't Connor. Dead Reckoning (4),
by Sandra K. Moore, is an interesting story with fresh plot ideas. A nice balance between danger and possible romance develops between Chris and Connor. Moore skillfully develops her characters and keeps readers in suspense over the identity of the mole.
