DEAD RECKONING (4.5) by Rachelle McCalla: Pilot Ginny McCutcheon, a member of the Dare Divas Barnstorming Troupe, is not happy when her brother, Cutch, sends ex-Air Force pilot Ben McAlister to fetch her home for Cutch’s wedding. Ben is really there because both he and Cutch are worried about the “accidents” that have recently plagued the Divas, including shots fired at Ginny — twice. But when the danger follows Ginny home, will Ben be able to protect her? A fine mystery, engaging characters, a nice amount of action, a sweet romance and familiar faces make this an exceptionally entertaining story.
