Monkeewrench computer company founders Grace MacBride and Annie Belin-sky are driving to Green Bay with Deputy Sharon Mueller to give a presentation to local authorities. When they break down just outside the isolated town of Four Corners, they discover they've stumbled upon a ghost town.

Grace senses that something terrible has happened, and her instincts prove correct when the women see men in
military uniforms carry out a brutal execution. With no cell phone reception and the phone lines cut, the women must use all their cunning to survive. Meanwhile, Minneapolis cops Leo Magozzi and Gino Rolseth worry when they learn Grace & Co. didn't show up in Green Bay. Using the special Monkeewrench RV, the gang heads off to find the missing women.

From the very first page, the writing duo of P.J. Tracy grabs you and never lets go. The pacing is intense, and the fear soars with each new revelation. A textbook example of suspense at its finest! (Apr., 352 pp., $23.95)
