Book Review

by Irene Hannon

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Hannon’s second installment in the Guardians of Justice series is full of action, suspense and just the right amount of romance. It is not too graphic and the romance is secondary to the mystery. The faith undertones serve as a subtle reminder to rely on God.

Social worker Alison Taylor is in an unfamiliar situation: in need of protection from a stalker. In working to protect her clients and their children, she has unwittingly made an enemy. Her brothers, as well as Detective Mitch Morgan, want to keep her safe. As the threats increase, Mitch must ask himself if his concerns for Alison’s safety are strictly professional or personal (REVELL, Sep., 352 pp., $14.99)
