DEADLY VALENTINE (4) by Justine Davis & Cindy Dees: These two novellas are very exciting and well developed as two women decide that Valentine’s Day isn’t as bad as they thought. Executive assistant Taylor Burke doesn’t like her boss’s new hire — a strange, unattractive man, Angus Kincaid. Angus is annoying, awkward and he always seems to be watching everyone and asking questions that make the employees nervous. As Taylor’s least-favorite holiday approaches things get worse as Angus isn’t who or what he pretended to be in Davis’ “Her Un-Valentine.” Dees’ heroine Lulu is shocked to receive a Valentine’s Day card from Peter, whom she believes dead in “The February 14th Secret.” When she keeps the appointment mentioned in the card, Lulu meets Special Forces operative Colt McQuade. Colt was held captive with Peter, who was working on a military project, and he needs Lulu’s help to unravel a secret that is locked in his mind after being hypnotized by Peter while in captivity. The danger is closing in fast!
