RT Rating

Alexander’s fourth installment, Deadshifted, opens up a whole new world of intrigue and adventure for nurse Edie Spence. Drama and humor go hand in hand as Alexander pays quite a bit of attention to our lovers’ angst-filled relationship. Though the conflict is slow to build, once it erupts the story moves sure and swift, leading to a shocking ending that will leave readers reeling.

Edie Spence needs a stress-free vacation but finds trouble when her boyfriend, Asher, books them on a romantic cruise to Hawaii. Seasickness takes on a new meaning when their fellow passengers fall victim to a mysterious illness. When Asher finds himself face to face with an enemy from his past, Edie knows the rapidly spreading sickness isn’t a coincidence. Can Edie keep herself and her growing family alive? (ST.
