This third book in the Brides of Webster County series showcases the importance of trusting God. The struggle to realize one's purpose in life is an identifiable theme for many readers, though the romance is a bit predictable.

Melinda Andrews works at a veterinarian's office and is encouraged by Dr. Franklin to pursue it as a career. Yet in her Amish community, college is not considered an option.

Gabe Swartz loves Melinda, though he's concerned that her interest in the welfare of injured animals outweighs her love for him. He tries to convince her that she would have to give up those she loves if she went away to college. Instead of being dissuaded, Melinda tries to convince Gabe to go with her. After she's forced to come face to face with the prospect of life without Gabe, she must re-evaluate her priorities. (BARBOUR, Mar., 288 pp., $9.97)
